The pop-up shop at South Coast Plaza was the first US location of the worldwide Animal Kingdom pop-up series launched by Burberry to celebrate their signature bags and accessories. Burberry partnered with Wildlife Works whose projects help protect and restore threatened animal habitats, to build a carbon neutral pop-up shop. The pop-up shop features large-scale sculptures of monkey, gorillas and birds of paradise, inspired by the designer’s recognition of the power and symbolism of animals. The modular nature allows for the structure to be dismantled and re-installed at numerous locations. The pop-up is traveling through numerous locations including Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta, Yorkdale Shopping Centre, and Aventura Mall.
